Energy saving by frequency-controlled compressors

- One of the greatest challenges of our time is the reduction of energy consumption and the protection of our precious energy resources.
- The A-PLUS series with a power of 22, 37, 55 and 75 kW is also available in a version with speed control, which combines high performance with energy-saving solutions
- The graph below shows the significant energy savings by using a variable speed compressor in a typical installation.

A frequency converter dynamically adjusts the voltage, frequency and current values ​​of the motor. The air flow is constantly adjusted to 50 to 100 percent of the compressor's total load. This results in the following measurable positive effects:
- Accurate coverage of the air requirement by constant control of engine speed and compressed air generation
- Minimization of unnecessary energy losses by continually adapting compressed air generation to actual air requirements
- Energy consumption proportional to the delivered compressed air
- Constant and precise pressure control, adjustable to any value between 6 and 10 bar (13 bar on request)
